Tutoring

After earning my CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in 2015, I went on to work as a Credentialed Tutor at Brandon Elementary School in Goleta . During those four years, I worked with all elementary levels in all subjects. I taught small groups in intervention math, gifted writing, and language development. This experience gave me a lot of tools to be an excellent one-on-one private tutor for elementary level students, especially those who struggle with learning differences such as ADHD.

I have worked 1:1 privately with students to help them feel more confident in their Common Core math, vocabulary development, reading fluency, science, and more. During the pandemic, I worked exclusively 1:1 with sixth grade students. Scroll down to see what parents and tutees have said about me!

Currently, I teach art and the after school academic tutorial at Willits Charter School for grades 6 through 12, and am offering my services in the Willits area. Check out the FAQs below, and feel free to reach out to me with any questions.

  • I tutor all grades. However, please note that I do not teach high-school science or math beyond Algebra 1.

  • I charge $75 an hour.

  • M - F: 10am - 12pm ( great for Independent study students)

    M - F: 6pm - 7pm
